1 kilo Scottsdale Tombstone Silver Nugget Bar (New)

The 21st century precious metals landscape is pushing more private and sovereign mints to expand their offerings, and the Scottsdale Mint is aggressively developing a variety of new products to answer the call of investors and collectors alike. Right now, the 1 Kilo Scottsdale Tombstone Silver Nugget Bar is available for purchase from JM Bullion.

Bar Highlights:

All-new silver bar from Scottsdale Mint! Unique nugget finish!

Arrives in a canvas pouch for individual bars, or wooden crates for multiples of 15.

Contains 1 Kilogram (32.15 troy oz) of .999 pure silver.

Obverse design identifies the city of Tombstone from the Arizona Territory.

Reverse features engravings of the bar’s weight and purity.

Hand-poured product from a private American mint.

Tombstone was the last, and perhaps most famous, American West boomtown. Founded in 1879 in what was then Pima County in the Arizona Territory, the silver mines of Tombstone produced $40 to $85 million in silver bullion during its heyday from 1877 to 1890.

The city has a famous place in American history, not just for its silver bullion production and status as a mining boomtown, but also for its outlaw culture. The American West was difficult to control from a law enforcement prospective, and the town is just as famous today for the gunfight at the OK Corral.

Each of these unique 1 Kilo Scottsdale Tombstone Silver Nugget bars has a dimpled finish on both sides of the bar. Playing off the Tombstone, boomtown mystique of the city, the bars in this product listing ship to you in either a canvas pouch or a wooden crate with themed presentation features.

On the obverse face of the bar you’ll find engravings arranged vertically from top to bottom that read “Tombstone,” “Arizona Territory,” and “Silver Nugget.” The reverse of the 1 Kilo Scottsdale Tombstone Silver Nugget Bar has horizontally arranged engravings that include the purity, metal content, and weight of the bar, as well as the seal of the Scottsdale Mint.

Located in the city of Scottsdale, Arizona, in suburban Phoenix, the Scottsdale Mint is a private facility that prides itself on green, environmentally responsible production. Most of its silver bullion comes from recycled materials in the photographic and manufacturing industries.
